** Memphis running back Jamarius Henderson is leaving the school, having been granted a release to be closer to his son.
** As a freshman in 2015, Henderson ran for 320 yards and four touchdowns on 60 carries. He also caught seven passes for 90 yards and two more touchdowns.
** Henderson becomes the second running back the Tigers have lost this offseason. Jarvis Cooper transferred to Central Arkansas after rushing for 389 yards and scoring five touchdowns on 91 carries in 2015.
** Memphis is blessed with depth at running back; the defections are not expected to greatly hamper the running game.
