Alphonse Taylor Suspended; Alabama’s 2016 Schedule

**  Coach Nick Saban has indefinitely suspended Alabama right guard Alphonse Taylor after Taylor was arrested early Sunday morning for driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.
**  The 6’5″, 345-pound fifth-year senior started all 15 games last year for the national champion Crimson Tide.  His starting job is now in jeopardy, and being overweight doesn’t help.

**  Alabama again faces a tough schedule in 2016.  There are at least five games the Tide could lose and potentially as many as seven.  That’s not counting the SEC title game. With the toughest games in red and other challenges in italics, here is Alabama’s football schedule for the season that’s fast approaching:

September 3     Southern California     (at Arlington, Texas)
September 10   Western Kentucky
September 17   at Mississippi           {The Rebels have won this game the last two years.}
September 24   Kent State
October 1          Kentucky
October 8          at Arkansas
October 15        at Tennessee           {This could be a preview of the SEC championship game.}
October 22        Texas A&M
November 5      at Louisiana State   {The winner could claim the SEC West.}
November 12    Mississippi State
November 19    Chattanooga
November 26    Auburn
