Lou Groza Award Watch List

**  In 2016 the Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award will be presented for the 25th time.  The watch list includes three past finalists and 16 former semifinalists (not counting the three returning finalists).  There are 30 kickers on the watch list all together.

**  Ka’imi Fairbairn of U.C.L.A. won the award last year.  The 2015 finalists on this year’s watch list are junior Daniel Carlson of Auburn and senior Jake Elliott of Memphis.  Also on the list is 2014 finalist Josh Lambert of West Virginia.

**  The semifinalists will be announced on November 3, the finalists on November 22 and the winner on December 8.

**  Of the kickers who made 70% or better on field goal attempts in 2015, there were 11 who connected on at least seven attempts from at least 40 yards away.  Not surprisingly, all 11 made the watch list for ’16.
