**  Four of Iowa State‘s first six games see the Cyclones against teams that won 10 or more games a year ago, and three of the four are on the road.  Nice first half of the schedule for new coach Matt Campbell!  Can his zest and zeal hold up?

Oregon State‘s final eight opponents all played in a bowl game last season and all finished with winning records.   Overall the Beavers face 10 teams that played in bowls and eight of them won!
If Oregon’s Vernon Adams hadn’t been hurt in the Alamo Bowl against T.C.U., it would have been
nine out of 10!

**  It’s been more than 20 years since Georgia Tech posted back-to-back losing seasons
(1993 and 1994).  The Wramblin’ Wreck went 3-9 a year ago, and 2016 won’t be easy.  All four road games are against bowl teams from a year ago, and getting Clemson at home will be no picnic.  Neither will a run of seven straight games against teams that bowled a year ago.
