Twenty-year-old Altee Tenpenny has died of injuries sustained in a one-car wreck in Mississippi. The accident occurred Tuesday when the 2008 Dodge Charger Tenpenny was driving struck a highway sign, went airborne, flipped several times and hit a utility pole. Somewhere in all of this he was ejected from the vehicle. He passed away at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Mississippi.
Tenpenny was a reserve running back at Alabama in 2013 and 2014, appearing in 26 games, before transferring to U.N.L.V. After being kicked off the team at U.N.L.V. , Tenpenny went to
Nichols State. Tuesday he was traveling home to Arkansas after being kicked off the Nichols State team following a recent arrest. Why the arrest? He had drunkenly walked into oncoming traffic and fired a handgun into the air.
